This work written by Pirimkul Kodirov shows collapse of the large empire Movarounnahr, the crisis of the Timurid dynasty, the tragic fate of relatives who fought for the throne and chose to raise swords in the pursuit of power. Through the events depicted in the novel, readers learn how easily Shaybani Khan destroyed the Timurids who never united and their unawareness of the helpless people. The author was able to describe that integrity of Movarounnahr was completely destroyed by the tyranny of the bloodthirsty statesmen as a result of conflicts between the Timurids, by the conspiracies, corruption and bloodshed.
The main hero in the novel, Mirza Babur, was confronted with such disgusting vices as indifference, envy, selfishness and betrayal when he ascended the throne at the very early age of 12. It is not surprising that the burning heart of the padishah, who was wounded by the tragic blows of fate, chose to express his sorrows through poetry. While reading the novel, the pain of our ancestor, who was burning with love for the Motherland all his life and longed for it, who famously said “I have not found another faithful soul…” shakes the heart of the reader, too.
