“Ozodlikdan qochish” by Erich Fromm
The Frankfurt School of Sociology was founded by Erich Fromm, one of the greatest philosophers and thinkers of the 20th century. Erich Fromm’s books are timeless because his research placed an emphasis on understanding human nature and using that knowledge to guide people toward more creative and productive endeavors. In his best-selling book Escape from Freedom, Erich Fromm explains why, despite advances in material goods and democratic achievements, people continue to give up their freedoms in favor of political authoritarianism. As a result, they end up becoming cogs in the machine who are well-fed and try to understand their tendency to become well-dressed automatons rather than free individuals.
