In his 1925 novel “Symphony of Love,” the famous Turkish author Rashad Nuri Guntekin depicts the lifestyles of heroes from all socioeconomic classes while also addressing the sociopolitical climate of the moment. Like in his debut book, “Choliqushi,” he skillfully analyzes the characters’ emotional waves and the scenes of forlorn life in this book. He then takes the reader on a journey with Lamia and Husayn Kanon to Istanbul, Izmir, and the distinctively beautiful gardens of Kutahya and Bozyoka.
