Prominent Uzbek writer O’lmas Umarbekov has a special place in the development of Uzbek prose in the second half of the XX” century. His novels and short stories depict lives of young people, their spiritual and moral problems, complex human relationships. His works are still loved and read by many people today. The writer was able to show the world of children’s endless dreams, sweet and painful love of young people, sincerity, betrayal, relationship between fathers and children in a very deep and sincere way. That is why this author’s works still capture the hearts of many readers.
